Born and brought up in Kalyan. Further studied from Ruparel college. She joined J J Group of Hospitals for MBBS in the year 1982 & MD 1992 and completed graduation and post graduation from the same institute. She is also a Life Member of API ( Association of Physician of India) and also Life member of RSSDI ( Research Society for the study of Diabetes in India). She completed the courses in diabetes by PHFI ( Public Health Foundation Of India). She also holds special interest and Practice in treating Diabetes, hypertension, thyroid and Obesity in the last 30 years. She also worked with corporate sector, Fortis Group of Hospitals Of Kalyan from the day of it's Inception, for more than 10 years. She is a Life member of IMA (India Medical Association) and AMC ( Association of Medical Consulates) and Medical Club, Kalyan. She was also associated as a convener of IMA-CME (IMA- Continued Education Program). She provides Mass education about Diabetes to various societies in Kalyan and a General Practitioner and also trains the medical staff in Diabetic Counselling in Pvt. Sector. She also provides Lectures in all major clubs like Rotary, Inner Wheel, Giants, etc. She is also a member of Inner Wheel Rotary Club. She is attached to various hospitals in Kalyan. Holding free check-up camps at the diabetes centre, Khadakpada Hospital & various villages and societies.
My wife was admitted to Khadakpada multispecialty hospital. She had MExxxxxxIA, but when she asked about the report and diagnosis, then doctor (Shashi Singh) told her that she is having Typhoid. They didn't give the report. They told her that she needs to be admitted for at least four days. On the second day we came to know about the actual diagnosis through HDFC Ergo insurance company. So my wife asked the doctor about the same. Then the doctor admitted her mistake and told my wife that she will get the release today.
We were so shocked with the negligence of the doctor and we felt that the whole idea was to just increase the bill. They had multiple tests with her. For 2 days we paid whopping Rs. 25000. We wanted to file civil suit but didn't have much time.
Anyway I request to you all, please be careful before you select your doctor. Some doctors understand patients and really give their best to ensure wellness of their patient/client. They are like God. Others just want to earn money by every possible way (that includes cheating).
P.S. : My daughter was also admitted to same hospital 5 days before. She was got treatment for 3 days from the same the doctor (Bill Rs. 20000) their but she is still not recovered. Today we have taken her to different doctor. This doctors told us that some medicines were not required. So I feel now these doctors at Khadakpada Multispecialty has this scheme (With insurance company, pharmacy, testing labs etc.) to rob people which are in problems.
